Method
- Place the rice with ground cardamom pods in a saucepan and add the milk and bring to the boil stirring continuously. Reduce heat to medium and cook until rice is tender and mixture is thick and creamy.
- Add the sugar and rose essence and cook for an extra 2 minutes.
- Chill and serve cold, garnished with the nuts.
