The Inspiring Story of SoupedUp's CEO & Founder Winning 2023 Brilliant Women in Digital Health Award

Updated: Nov 21, 2023

SoupedUp CEO and Founder Belinda Adams has been recognised for her brilliance in aged care technology, receiving an award alongside eight other remarkable women in the 2023 Brilliant Women in Digital Health Awards.

Awarded for ‘introducing a new digital process to improve clinician and patient experiences in health and aged care’, Belinda was honoured to receive this award and to represent women working in aged care.

Belinda said in her acceptance speech last month, “Innovation and technology are indispensable tools in enhancing the quality of care, particularly in the realms of food and nutrition".

She continued:

I hope, in some small way, we help make the lives of those who work in care, or those who receive care, that little bit better

The Brilliant Women in Digital health awards, organised by Telstra Health, aims to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women in digital health and aged care, while raising awareness about the opportunities in the sector and inspiring others to follow their lead.

Telstra Health Managing Director, Elizabeth Koff AM, congratulated the award recipients at the ceremony last month, saying the awards highlight the breadth and depth of rewarding careers in digital health for women, who are traditionally under-represented in science, technology, engineering and mathematics workforces.
